In the autumn of 2017, I took up an opportunity to travel to Rajasthan. Visiting this famous Northern Indian state had been on my 'bucket list' for some time.

I started out in Jaipur and did a one week round trip (by private car) via Ajmer,Pushkar, Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Oshian, which is at the edge of Thar desert, and back to Jaipur. It has been one of my most memorable trips so far.

Very much enjoyed the sights, the people, the food, the desert trip, the temples, and even had some pleasant conversations with members of the royal family in Jaipur.
